My New Adventure...

Most of the time, pretty much all of the time, the posts are about Jenna and her antics but this one it not. Many of you know that just prior to the wedding I left my marketing position at Lorence & Vander Zwart. It's always frightening to leave something familiar and head into the unknown but it was time. I know it's easy to say that you trust that God has a plan for you but seriously believing it in the midst of uncertainty is another thing altogether! The good news is that He did have a plan and I'm excited about it. It's actually been a couple weeks since I started, this post is just a little late. I have taken a sales position with Image Builders Marketing. This is not something I would have seen myself doing but this seemed like the right time to go out on a limb. I've gone from one side of marketing to the other and have taken a sales job....scary, I know! There are a few main reasons for choosing this direction. 1. I get to work from home and set my own hours 2. I really enjoy meeting new people and the satisfaction of helping them 3. I'm selling fun stuff.

Image Builders Marketing is one of the largest distributors of promotional products in Michigan. Anything that you can think of putting a logo on I can get for the clients including apparel (businesses, schools, non-profits, rec. teams, etc.). Some of it's inexpensive trinkets and some of it's very high end. My family has been very supportive (thanks Danee for the Fremont apparel order!!!!) and I really hope this is something I can succeed at. Of course I'll end this with a sales pitch - let me know if I can help you or someone you know with anything, I'd love to!!!
