Mini Montana...

Yes, I know that Jenna is only three and yes, I know that she is a bit young for Hannah Montana. However, she has older cousins who are in love with all things Hannah and some of this has rubbed off on Jenna. I don't actually think she really knows and understands all that much about her, just likes the music and toys when she sees them in the stores or sale fliers. She had stopped me several times in the aisles of local stores so she could play and sing with the Hannah Montana guitar. Not just quietly singing but loud enough to the point that she'd get smiles from those listening. Every week she'd scan the paper to look for the picture of the guitar. I told her that she was too little but apparently she tugged on the right heartstrings when she did her "grandma wouldn't it be so fun" and "I just love it grandma" act because after dropping Jenna off there for a couple hours one day last week I arrived to pick her up and was told she had a surprise. She came running down the hallway with a huge grin and laughing her little head off. Guess the $15 was worth it for my mom to see and hear that every time she sees takes out that guitar. Jenna took it home for a night but it's a stay at grandma's house toy! Here's Jenna in concert the night she had it home...

Getting into it with a little more rocker attitude!

Then she asked Dave to join in so they could have a band. Dave got to play the Wiggles guitar. If you've ever heard the Wiggles song " Fruit Salad" and Hannah Montana's "Best of Both Worlds" you can understand the noise level coming from our house with both playing loudly at the same time! She tried to make Dave perform a solo but he explained that he was only a guitar player and a back-up singer. They were so cute to watch! You don't have to mention this post to him...he'd kill me :-)

It is so awesome to see my brother interacting with his "kid" I know she is step and not his own but it is so cool to see him with her. I love it! Jenna is such a blessing in our life and brings eveyone joy and laughter. We love having you AND Jenna in the family. She makes me laugh...just being able to get Dave to do that stuff! WHo knew he was such a softie for a child.
