And the Baby Bumps Grow...

Dave's grandparents are back home from Florida so we all gathered for lunch this past Sunday. Grandma Wolters wanted to capture the growing bellies of the "Pregnant People". It's hard to believe we are all due with in a week and a half of each other! Dave's sister Megan is due September 9, I am due August 28 and Dave's cousin Emily is due September 10. I heard plenty of comments that I am hardly showing but trust me people....I do eat and there is a growing bump there! I've been blessed with a long torso and cursed with short legs so maybe that has something to do with it. Being sick until only 2 weeks ago probably played a part as well. I would honestly trade having gained 10 more pounds and a bigger belly at this point for all the times I got sick :-).
As for the baby, all looked good at my appointment on Monday. The heart rate was 155 which is almost exactly what Jenna was. Again my Doctor is a bit shocked at how high the baby is (possibly TMI but my uterus is about 4" higher than it should be for 18-19 weeks) but can only find one heartbeat so he believes it's just a freak thing that poses no risk other than me having to deal with a baby that will be living and growing into my ribs in the very near future.
I was not supposed to go back until 22 weeks and at that appointment would also have my ultrasound, but there was a little change of plans and I'm so grateful that my Dr. is laid back and flexible. We will be getting back from Florida on April 25 and Dave will leave on the 27th for 2 more weeks in Connecticut. That would mean he'd miss the ultrasound and he really wants to be there...and I want him there. I explained it to the Dr. and he fit us in the day before we leave for Florida. I'm excited to see the baby again even though we will not be finding out the gender. I just know I'll have a big sense of relief to know that God willing, the baby is healthy.

Awesome! 155, same as baby devries. It is crazy we are both pregnant at the same time. These little munchins hopefully will be as close as Jenna and Grace. How much fun!

It will be very fun having them so close. I've been having a "gut" feeling of boy lately so we'll have to wait and see!

Awww! Your little bump is cute! I'm glad things are going well. I have a little bump also but it's not cute OR justifiable :(
Hugs! Also, thanks so much for the condolence you sent for my dad. I appreciated your thoughts, prayers and support.
