Better late than never, right? My "little", and only brother, married a wonderful girl, Sandra VanDyke, on July 29! We could not be happier to welcome such a great girl into our family. We wish them a lifetime of happiness together!!! Jenna, along with her cousin Allee, were the flower girls. Garrett was the bell ringer, with a cow bell nonetheless, as it was perfectly fitting as Travis' nickname is "cow". The kids all started to walk down the aisle great, then Garrett stopped halfway and started to return to the back of church! I pointed back up to the front where my brother was knelt down on the floor pushing a John Deere tractor. Needless to say, that was all the motivation the little guy needed to march right up to the front. Such a sweet moment!
My brother and his "mini me", Garrett.
Garrett's favorite part of the wedding was the dancing! The child was a RIOT to watch and never left the dance floor. He even dragged Papa Kapenga out for a dance when Papa and Grandma came to pick the kids up from the reception.
Sandra and the girls. Yup, the pretty much adore her :-)
The wedding ring my brother now wears proudly isn't just any ring. Soon after my dad died, my brother had my dads ring re-sized (much larger) so he could wear it on his right hand. To add their own personal touch to the ring, Travis and Sandra had two silver bands added to the edge of my dads. Love it!
My man :-)
Sandra has some better family pics but I do not have them yet. Dave was an usher so he was wearing purple as well so we just decided to coordinate the whole gang!
